In 2005, a song co-written and performed by UVON began airing on the King Biscuit Time Radio Program on KFFT in Helena, Arkansas. It is the oldest blues radio show in America.
Currently, she performs with The Uvon Brooks Trio, The Yuvonne Brooks Quintet, RayRay's BLUZONE which performs a mix of blues, jazz, oldies and original songs, as well as with a duo act called Blues Times Two.
Also, UVON & The Blues Nights perform an original theatrical show that is titled Blues & Jazz Revue. The show presents original and classic songs that are interspersed with historical vignettes. The audience is invited to sing along as she presents a hand-clapping, toe-tapping, interactive experience. The Revue has been presented at: The Yuma Historic Theatre, Pebble Creek Renaissance Theatre, Glendale Public Library, West Valley Art Museum, and commuinity college theaters, just to name a few venues. Further, the Revue has been presented as a theatrical dinner show at adult resort communities which most recently included a performance at Sun City Grand
On April 21, 2006, UVON performed a Pops Concert with The Chandler Symphony (formerly San Marcos) at the Gainey Ranch Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ where she showcased her original blues songs.
UVON has been a headline artist and performed at: concerts, schools, casinos, nightclubs, colleges, corporate events, national and regional blues & jazz festivals. She performed twice at The Monterey Bay Blues Festival in Monterey, CA.
UVON has opened for: Robert Jr. Lockwood, Honeyboy Edwards, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Henry Gray, Henry Townsend, Cephas and Wiggins, Billy Boy Arnold, Roy Gaines, Dave Meyers and Rudy Ray Moore just to name a few artists.
UVON has shared the stage with Michael Burks, Johnny Rawls, Long John Hunter, and Paul de Lay. She was the lead singer with Chico Chism’s band for over two years.
UVON has been described as "The Little Lady With The Big Voice." She belts the blues and then brings her voice down to create a mellow sound for jazz.
